Whitney Bonham is on seventh heaven, what with all the accolades she has been garnering for her performances of late. Being instrumental in two wins of late and that too back to back she has definitely caught the fancy of one and all.
The young female sport star who plays for Calumet College was announced as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week post her back to back inspiring performances. The two teams to succumb to her will were Aquinas and 25th-ranked St. Ambrose.
In the mean time it is the clash of the titans between the Boise State president Bob Kustra and Ohio State President Gordon Gee. Stating to The Associated Press, Kustra was furious over Goron Gee’s comment about his team being unfit and unworthy of playing in the Bowl Championship Series title game. Gee stated of the Boise state team plays much more inferior teams and wining gets the points. To this Kustra pointed out the Ohio team’s schedule stating how they are in turn playing even more inferior teams in Miami and Southern California along with many mid-majors and directional schools.
Cliff Koroll, Reis Simpson and Grant Mulvey, the retired old warhorses will rejoin their Black Hawks team participating in the 2010 Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Classic. none the less all the proceedings as gathered from this match will go for the benefit of Blackhawk Alumni, National Hockey League programs and Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois.
The RailCats in the mean time will be selling off team merchandise and clothes at discounted rates. Quite famously known as the annual “Yard Sale”, is going to be a second one of the sorts. It is to be held on the 4th of December from 10am in the morning to 2pm noon.

SHEILA FANS FROM INDONESIA ARE FINE WITH CONCERT POSTPONEMENT
Sheila Majid has a strong base of fans not just in her home country of Malaysia but also Indonesia. As far as relationship between both the counties is concerned, they are all heated up. This tension has resulted in the postponement of the concert to early next year.
The concert has been pushed by months further to as late as February the 15th next year. But there has been no outrage from any of the fans. In fact full of compassion, they understand it is for the better that the decision has been made.
So much so, even the concert organizer, Andy Soekasah is also pretty much fine with the postponement. The concert was apparently going to be marking twenty five glorious years in the music industry for the legendary singer. But remarks on Facebook and her blogs by many of her fans from all across Asia and the world have been positive indeed.
The postponement has seen hardly any sale of the tickets as a large chunk of the 3.418 tickets is yet to be purchased. There is however going to be complete refund of the tickets that have been already purchased. As for people opting to keep them, the tickets will be valid when the concert takes place next year.
Keeping everyone’s well being in mind, Sheila went ahead with her decision of cancelling the concert and postponibg it to early next year. None the less the love that fans have in their heart for her, their positive response to this decision doesn’t come as a surprise.
